Puddle rips my car to bits

There was loads of rain in leicester yesterday and when i was going to my gf house i wenmt round a blind corner to be faced by a 2 foot puddle. The guy on my right wouldent let me in in time so i went thro at 25mph.
The damage is my side skirt has been ripped off my car and is a bit worse for wear. I am now missing a jack point cover on the passengers side so if anyone can help it is a white corsa gsi.
Really am gutted and prob need to buy a new side skirt let me know

It does clip back on but i am missing clips its all bent and scratched should be fitting it today prob get some pics up.

thats a coincidence because the same thing happened to my gsi today it tore off my sideskirt and part of my rear arch but the road was to busy to go back and retrieve it so i had to wait until four hours later im well gutted. i could only find the sideskirt itself not the rear arch section or jacking point covers. im going to ring my local council 2moz and get them to pay for it as the road obviously dosnt have proper drainage.
i hope i can get them to pay as i dont wana fork out money for someting that wasnt my fault, ive got pictures to back it up so hopefully ill get it done. id try and do the same if i was you.

same thing with puddles with me except its stripped the paint from my car, front passenger arch and passenger skirt from my rs kit

did you get the council or summin to pay or did you have to sort it out yourself? i rang the council yesterday and said what happened and they just told me there sending me a form to fill in but they didnt seem bothered! i told them to put up a sign notifying other road users but they just said some dodgy excuse

yea thats definalty true but if it pays off for the sake of a letter and a couple of calls i could get it replaced. Ive just got to be really awkward and kick up a stink! lol

It is now back on and looking good.
me and my mate done it was really annoyed to find out they they are only held on by clips so i have not stuck it back on with the clips.
