right fellers got a few questions for you all in my new corsa project there is a 1.2 8v in it and i want to upgrade it to something bigger that is also an 8v \'\'so you cant tell the difference if you get what i mean\'\' right well according to the corsa book a 1.2 8v will do 0-60 in around 19secs and a 1.4 8v \'single point injection\' will do it in 13sec which is quite a difference but i was wondering weather you can get a 1.6 single point injection which would be even better as i doint really want to change my full wiring loom. when i get engine i will be taking head off having it skimed and i will port poilsh it etc before i put it in and also if i replace it with another 8v engine out of a nova corsa astra etc will they all be stright forwards fits. or if they dont do a 1.6 single point injection would i be able to convert it to one by changing the manifolds\'

my car also has power steering so the p/s pump could also be a problem.

thanks fellers sam

Yea you are wright! It\'s just a differante way of mixing the fuel with the air. they are a good bit of kit av got a set on my engine can get up to 25bhp so realy good for performance[br]I got mine off ebay for £160 including p&p not a bad price!!

awesome, cos i want alot of performance without getting raped on my insurance, so engine conversion out of the way, i get paid next week from my 2nd job so that will go towards the carbs, what do i need to look for? and brands, or model types etc

not exactly mate,the 1.6 8v looks the same as a 2.0 8v

nly the 1,2 an 1.4 look the same

on the 1.6 upwards they have that little box on the head with the pipe coming out
