Well its time to start some major work on the GSi, which is going to take some time to do, but will be done!
Main idea is to get it all track ready, for both circuit AND 1/4 mile runs, but still use it for driving about on the road.
I started work this Saturday gone (17th June)
Bumper off so it will actually go \'on\' the ramps... Also took the lights out, as no point leaving them in for now...
Little bit of rust which WILL need sorting - best just grind & replate it & weld it I guess...
Finally up on the ramps ready for oil & coolant to be drained
Good job I\'m getting a new boot hatch too, ****ing garage where I bought it from thought it clever to drill \'new\' holes and use self tappers to attach the rear numberplate so its starting to rust through...
Today
Took the radiator out... had fun tryg to work around the PAS hoses, so just ended up ripping the thing out...
Then ripped off the upper inlet manifold... but cut through the brake servo line as I couldnt get the securing nut off
