just set off to go to the shops and when i was going round a corner i stalled and the engne wouldnt start up. so me and my brother pushed the car back round the corner into a parkign bay and got it started after a few expensive sounding noises, great we thort no damage done. then 2 mins later on the way to the shop we hurd a nasty rattle coming from the back right and on further road side assesment we noticed the suspention bush has given up. it seems like the jolt when i stalled was just too much for the old thing. now i\'ve gotta wait about 2 weeks untill i get payed to get it to the garage and get it fixed

shouldnt cost much if the prices are anything like his mot price £140 for a new backbox, replacement cat, replacement sensor (forgot which one) a load of misc bits and labour

seems quite cheap i got charged £40 just for the backbox without labour rip off and i was going to get charged £105 for a cat plus labour

is that 40 quid for a standard back box?

i only paid on my last car 15 quid including parts and labour

yes it was standard rip off but thats what happens when you send your parents to pick it up

my last car failed on exhaust noise

but my mate took out the mid box and welded a pipe to make a one piece system.

and i have a 5 inch back box

£40 for back box + £40 for mid box = £80 plus labour

thats y dont let mates touch my car no more, and what was i thinking with a 5 inch backbox oh well it was my first car and i lernt the rules of modifying! 5 inch backboxs are a no no
