have a look if you have the wire for the lighter tucked away behind the dash, i\'m guessing they\'ll be there seeing as corsas without back speakers have the wires for them

what i did was snip the wires at the end and run them to the fuse box where the fuses are, then wrap the wire round each end of the fuse and then push the fuse back in

i ran them up the a pillar to the interior light as said before, then i got clever/stupid.
got some domestic electrical flex connected one end to the + and - on the battery and ran it through the car then got a replacement lighter from halfords and wired it in where the lighter recess is
a tad dangerous but it works!

you people are well dodgy, \'wrap it around the fuse?\' being an electrician i can tell you that if the wire from the battery comes loose it wont have a fuse on it, and will just spark around, possibly damaging other circuits or most likely it\'d earth itself out... if this happens the cable will draw current until it burns out, probs melt your dash
best thing to do id say is to run a separate wire from the battery, and fit a fuse, (you could use a spare holder in the fuse box if there is one)
run the wire through the push to break switch on the door pillar, (that\'s the one that brings on the interior light when the doors open)
have a manual switch in parallel so that you can turn the neon\'s on and off as you want.
then the circuit goes through the neon down to earth, (id recommend finding an earth already in use, to get a good connection)
this way you wont have the neon\'s on when you are driving unless you want to (think it\'d drive me mad) and the neon\'s will light up when the doors opened
I\'ll post a circuit diagram tomorrow, cant do it at the mo I\'m at work, if you are interested let me know the wattage on the neon\'s and I\'ll work out the fuse rating needed
