Hey thinking of buying some new front speakers... just wondering if anyone can recomend me what to go for.
What size is it etc....

Lists of mods:Type VR enclosed induction kit, Corner splitters (front), 15"Alloys Wider than standard wheelies, front and rear strut brace, JBL front speakers, JBL 6x9's, 4-2-1exhaust manifold, Catbacksystem+backbox, Pipercross crankcase breather, alarm system(unkown i forgot!! :(), Bilsein sports kit 40mm allround...

lol my standard ones i think are good enough as it is, but they are a bit temprementle lol,
one day my side dies and sounds like its been popped, then suddenly plays normally again later and the next my passenger side goes all fuggered, so i\'ve decided to get some better quality ones ;D

you will need to buy/make adaptors, they arent hard to come by, the autoleads ones are alrite but making your own out of mdf will be more solid. I have a set of DLS Audio PS5a components in my doors amped on 50wrms and they sound really nice, got em for £75 odd from digital sounds direct. but no matter what speakers you go for, you should amp them! :)

you can get 17cm speakers in the front doors one thing check the mounting depth of the speaker if there too deep thay will hit the glass

Ive got kenwood 13cm front speakers but there not amped... What kind of power and type of amp should i look for?

my pioneer speakers are really good, only thing is my passenger side speaker is earthing, making a crackling sound

the shorting prob is easy to sort out!!! mount the speaker upside down so the terminals are at the top and thay wont short out easy really

those wiring adapters are utter carp leave the standard plug on but splice into the cable about 2-3\" up the wire as for pulling the wires off do what i said above ^^^^^

yes go to ebay and type \"corsa speaker adapter\" there £12 or so for the ones that do both 13cm and 16 cm
