Amps

I\'m looking at getting an amp but I know absolutely nothing about ICE.. ::)

I have a pair of Infinity 9603i 6x9s on the parcel shelf and a Sony CDX GT300 headunit (the front door speakers have also been replaced with ones a litter better than standard but I\'m unsure which!)..

What do I need to look for in an amp, spec wise, and how much would one cost me? I\'m not looking for anything amazing, just something to make the music louder, mroe bassy, and clearer.

It depends what your front speakers are. Take them out, and check out their specs on the net then get an amp that overpowers their rms rating a little. I have them 6x9s, and im using a 4channel 1000w legacy amp, to power them (130rms iirc) and my front kenwood comps (80rms iirc). They are pretty loud, but im just a bass man so my bass overpowers them

£150 i think, got it from a shop near me. I dont think legacy are liked around this place, but it does the job fer me Also when wiring your amp, find a good grounding spot as ive done mine near the rear lights, and whenever i press the brakes i hear a click in my speakers heh.

The front speakers are Pioneer TS-G1318, the 6x9s are Infinity 9603i, and my head unit is the Sony CDX GT300..

thats fair enough but u cant judge a whole forum by just 1 person allone,allot of the ppl i no off the site iv met at spl comps and ther really helpfull in evry way and genraly nice ppl
