Well after the last few weeks of hassle with getting my car painted. I finaly got it all sorted but out. but after looking around the paint and the rediculous colour match (still) and all the flaws in it the bloke did an absolote f\"£$!n $sit bodge job. I doubt he even preped it properly
anyhoo just been and got 3 quotes to have the work redone AGAIN..................
1st place £680 +vat
2nd place £520 +vat
3rd place £450 cash matttttttttttte (dont think i will be going back there again)
With the paint the way it is i think i would be lucky to get £7-800 for it if i sold the car. i cant realy justify 5-600 quid on paint work. so time to find another corsa B strip mine and start again >:( . Unless i can find a decent painter what wont charge the earth locally

Re: Not Happy 2
I have everything i need to paint my car (apart from paint) but no spray booth or garage so i am thinking of hirering a garage for the year or a 6 month policy as that will be cheaper than paying someone to do it and i would like to do it myself as i like spraying and i no it would be right!!

oh yes it needs redoing again properly and blending in. Its just a stinkeh job. There are laqucer lines in the shuts pin prick paint reactions on the boot lid among other problems. He didnt let the basecoat dry out properly so its blue/purple in places mainly on the edges because of that the mica doesnt show through its looking worse as the paint is harding
