ace
good on you for doing the work yourself
i am as of a week or so ago undertaking my first engine re-build, ive changed engines and done conversions.
im now stripping an engine down and re-building it
1 question, whats the best way to remove a half snapped exhaust manifold stud-- has plenty left on it, i was thinking putting 2 nuts on it, locking them together and undo the inner one and that shud crack it, plus a little blow torch heat?
gotta remove the inlet then take the head off is my next task
then the block with all its gubbins air con power steering etc etc lol

the 2 nut thing is what i do at work. or leave them in until you get the head off and the get them off so you have more room.
