Thicko! needs help!

Im hoping to buy a black interior carpet for the scrappys soon and i need to remove it my self, as they want a stupid amount to do it for me! what sort of torx bits do i need as ive tryed before and didnt have the right tools. and will i be able to put a 2000 reg airbag steering wheel, into my car? i know the airbag wont work but i really dont like the one i have and i can get it really cheap! would it just be a straight swap?
