so did i thats one of the reasons i went with them
its not as if there 19 inch there only 15s and there only worth about 300
i would of thought if they wernt going to insure them they would off said i could put them on the car but if they get nicked its nowt to do with them
same if i crashed they would pay for the car but the wheels are my problem

i think hyperformance use highway to underwrite there polices. your prob find even tho you have declared the mods in the event of an accidend thay will repair the car to the orignal factory spec there are a few companys that do a like for like cover but your find there prices anything up to a £1k dearer than anybody else.it should all be in the small print on there website

well im with bell aswell and declared all my mods at the time of insurance which was 6months ago (alloys, exhaust, lexus lights) although i have since swapped the standard springs for -40mm gmax springs and put an 57i induction kit in it - am i living life on the edge? i dont see it being a big deal to be honest - induction can be wiped out n replaced with the factory airbox in 10 mins and the car doesnt even look lowered....

cool, the big question is.....how reliable is ur source? are we talking the guy up the local garage or someone who works for an insurance company? lol

just out of interest, i\'ve had the centre section of my exhaust removed and replaced with a straight-thru pipe, does that make it a \'full system\'?

i have got a friend using bell he told me the other day that he called them cus its due for renewal, and because he was involved in an accedent *even tho it wasnt his fault and clamed off THEIR insurance*
that they had to up his premium as he is classed as higher risk...

also i heard that you should declair all mods, even if u add a bog standard gsi spoiler or wing mirrors.
i think thats more to do with the car being stolen, more desirable target for theivs i guess

again i reccon its cus a nice lookin car is worth more to steal
i mean lets face it, if ya have a nice ice build etc etc, not going to affect performance
but id say its worth tellin em as if sumone decides they want it, atleast u know its coverd then
cant turn round and refuse to pay out.
if u have a knock in it ur not going to call ur insurance company, corsa parts are pretty cheap these days
and thers plenty of them avalable. only time ud tell them is if it was stolen/broken in to or written off.
