bigger engine

what diesel engine can i drop into my corsa? want a bigger one but dont know wat will fit!
if possible would like to be able to do it by just changing the ECU, loom, block and g-box.
is it possible?

Wiring loom,ecu,engine,exhaust and the fuel pump
Send your log book to dvla they will change the details of the car and the insurance companys will no about it when you tell them the reg number!

the insurance companys will go mental if i drop a 2ltr lump in it, even a 1.6ltr.
they will put the car down as highly modifyed and it will be in a rediculas group, wont it?
i wouuld love to do it tho.

I would of thought so but am not sure! Thats what my project will be in a few grand anyway!

u can get upgraded turbos for the desiel ive seen a desiel corsa wit 200+ bhp and it was pretty tidy aswell

diesels arnt too bad on the insurance a 2.0 dti astra is only group 5-6 some insurance companys will insure the car in the same group as the doaner car then load you 10% on top as its non orignal
only thing you can really do is phone up and get a quote or 10
