well ned some ideas of what to do to my engine bay as this is how it looks atm in a very sad state as its had no bonnet on for a wile etc so wile am chnageing my rockercover gasket mightaswell paint the rocker cover wile its off so what other ideas so you trhink could make it look better thna it is now lo

pics of your engine bay the same or not would be grate

i know it needs some serios tlc,but before it get any more done to it im getting up on the ramps and checking underneath becuase i have a feeling its gonna be f**k as found a loads of rust on the sills last nigth i did not know about!

if it is rusted on the chassis leg and suspension cutps etc (read on migweb that the most common place) might just get rid now and buy either another B but a later one t reg + or get an early c

and that rokercover looks good simon is that 1 off a mk3 then?

that was my plan but if i need to make the decision if mine is rotten to buy 1 exsacly the same reg etc and find the same prolbem and have wasted even more cash onit

so i might look for an accident damaged late B and use mine to reapir and the parts off mine like bumpers etc that have been modded either that or put it down to unexperiance and impatient and get a new car prolby another corsa but a C

yup simon is right you need a new rocker cover gasket aswel pal leakin a bit of oil there u need to remove air boy and spark plug leads and get cleaing. you do need to do the car up when i get my corsa they are in a right heep take a look at the project logs.

how you getting on with the 1.8 convertion

wont be bothering now mate stripping and selling what i can off it ... engine mounts are vertully none exsitent and underneath is worse than i thaught

break them urself my dad has done it b4 its pretty hard

atleast your making progress are the engine mounts the same as the corsa engine or do you have to mod anything
