Did you just use the cutting compound by hand??

I've got some autogymn stuff, but was thinking about getting a buffer to do my car with, wasnt sure if you could do it by hand or not...!

My appologies only just seen this thread again i used the g3 compound with the buffer and lots of water,

If you're thinking of buying a buffer you get what you pay for and £120 will see you a sealey tools buffer same as mine as found in bodyshops,

After i just used 2 coats of autoglym and it came up brilliant,

Just need to sort my brakes now :(

Autoglym Paint Renovator does an excellent job. Should be able to pick up a bottle for £5 from any motorparts shop.

It sure does mate. Keeps the car looking like showroom condition. Wash the car, use the paint renovator and then wax the car. Lasts for ages!

i used the Autoglym and it woz ok but didnt last a long time really, a friend used the compund idea and it worked perfect,i went for the cheaper option,if you know how to do it it comes ok,if not i would attempt it,i aerasoled the whole car in origional flame red and it works fine,i did it on about £9,only used 3 or 4 cans.will put pics on sumtime to prove, wouldnt get paint from halfords tho, costs alot,i went to my local car shop.

Use a good wash and wax shampoo, eg. carplan to help reduce the problem but to solve the problem completely u'll need a day or 2 to t-cut and polish it.
