seat belt clips

does anyone know how much a seat belt clip (the plastic bit attached to the seat) is likely too cost me? and if so where i can buy one asap. 'cus my drivers side one is utterly shot and i really need my car to get to/from college.

ah bugger, thats bloody typical aint it. looks like a 3 point harness may well have to be the way forward then

your looking at about £20 form a scrap yard
or look on ebay, and search for seller NovaRob, he does all these poarts, and will post them too

well its 150 from vauxhall so that rules that out. should be off to the scrappy tomorrow to see what i can find.
meanwhile, does anyone know how to remove the arrangement thats in there at the moment and if theres anything important i need to know for refitting.

well there's that sorted then, cost me 30 quid and about an hour or so this afternoon. to think vauxhal wanted 150 plus fitting and i now have a spare seat out of it aswell. excellent/

lol, funny you should mention that. i have toyed with the idea of bolting a base of some sort to it and then ebaying it as a "1 off vauxhall reclining office chair"

On the subject of seat belts, does anyone know if its possible to adjust the spring (assuming it is) that retracts the seat belt. Im feed up with falling over the dame belt every time i get out.

i know this is offtopic now, but to add insult to injury my bloody exhaust gave in this morning aswell. so i had to drive 20 miles home with my car sounding like a bloody sportsbike

ah yea there is that to it. jus got back from getting it fixed. the bloke who did it say the back box had just gone completely and the only thing holding it on was the rubber mounts.

apparently so. it's gotta be said the noise the car was making was so funny
