What engine mods can i do to make my car faster.

1.4i corsa vegas, not much u can do really mate, if u want to be REALLY good n a god amoungst corsa\'s save up n get a set of twin carbs or throttel boddies

i got a corsa 1.4 8v sri on a 94 plate gotta strip engine to do head gasket any recomendations to give more power people already got k&n and exhaust

Not a Magazine I guess you would buy but there is an artical in Retro cars with a full write up on the 8v engines covering 1.2-2.0 which includes a bit about heads that have the bigger valves heads with best ports
the info comes from an engine builder in manchester who gets 200bhp out of the 2.0 and 150 bhp out of a 1.4 8v! he builds race motors mainly for grasstrack specials using the vauxhall 8v engines but will sell parts that have been made for him for road cars
