he had a race with me, i won, but.
during race on cam his car sorta twitched :o

so while pacing he got on and off throttle a couple of times and the drivers wheel was moving independent of itself,:!

so got under to have a look, and the chasis has split all along the bulkhead so what the lower arm was bolted to, that bit of steel wasnt attached to the car.

so it got killed, we stripped it, and took the engine out by unbolting it till it fell out, i cba getting the engine crane so jacked it up as high as it would go, on some bricks too "getto" then i simply lifted the car the rest of the way and marc slid the engine out.

here are some pics.

the chassis is the main part of the car that has everything fitted to it, ie engine body well anything on the car :D

the wheel is attached to the car by a lower arm, on a fiesta that is held on with 2 big bolts to the body "structure" of the car,

the structure of the car has rusted so bad that the lower arm is pretty much held on with bugger all, and it had split.

lol what do you expect from a MK3 1.6 Sohc ford the things just rust like a git and im suprised the cam didnt snap in half as the pieces of crap are made out of toffe metal,

dont get me wrong i work for fords and everything but they are utter cack dont anyone if you have or ever think about buying a new ford just dont they really will only last about 120,000 miles on a peterol before you have some serious enging problems and the diesles you will be spendin 1k on injectors every few years........ ford do live up to there names
