Just done a change on the front pads of the Corsa C... how easy! lol
2 1/2inch bolts on each wheel, drops the centre of the caliper, remove old pads.. fit new, refit bolts! I was so surprised at how quickly I did them that I started from scratch.. loosened bolts, jacked up car (trolley jack!) removed wheel, undid caliper bolts, removed pads, refitted it all... 6 minutes per side! I think the rear shoes will be a different ball game all together though!

Corsa B procedure... (to those who haven't done it before)
Get wheel brace and jack from the boot
Snap the wheel brace on a bolt realising the monkey at the garage used an impact wrench with the torque set to 3billion to tighten the nuts
Scream and kick wheel
Go hunt down a big-ass breaker bar and a 6ft scaffold pole
Do your own impression of the monkey in the garage hanging off the scaffold bar to undo the nut
Loosen the bolts (finally)
Jack up car & remove wheel
Fanny about round the back of the caliber for the bolts, realise there an allen key, find one to fit
Realise there a gay 7mm allen key size (non-standard) so hunt around halfords or somewhere to find one and pay for the privilege. Get harrassed by people wanting to sell you a store card.
Swear like a bitch again at the car as the bolts are seized.
Bend the allen key while using a hammer to loosen the bolt.
Get shot in the arm by the caliper retaining spring as you ply it off
Notice the caliper body is seized in the caliper housing. Smack it out with a hammer, bashing your thumb in the process
Finally get the caliper off, replace the pads, apply a little bit of copper grease, and start refitting

Love it.. however you forgot the 20minutes part spent trying to find the fkin allen key nuts and then the kicking yourself silly part when you realise they are covered over with dust caps!
