it all depends on the colour of ur car, as i removed my badges on my red corsa, and under the badges were red and the rest of the boot was pink, after a couple of attempts at t-cuttin it wouldnt match.

ive always looked at this and said to myself what if i could make this look like something vauxhalls disigner boffins would make (plus it stopps cops pulling you over)

if i were you i'd find a nice set of vauxhall alloys that you think look the part mainly in my oppinion 15" due to your budget and the price of the boots, then i'd look at a 35 or 40mm drop (i'd go for springs and struts as the strust will be shortened and have been firmed up) after that i would look at a nice back box (that is if your not wanting to get as much power as you can out of this little lump) with all that done i would step back and look at your car in a new light as its going to have a much more sporty look then..

at the moment i am looking into purchasing a set of fiberglass front wings with the BMW Z3 vents in as i think it will look quite nice.

hope that helps you in your decisions.

hey, ive got a 5door too, only a 1litre, mines silver, got black lexus lights on the back, 15inch wolfrace rims on it, lowered 50mm front 40mm rear with shorter dampers, black side repeaters, black angel eyes on front, (gsi front bumper and replica gsi side skirts for the 5door on there way ), i will post picks up when i got the bumper n skirts fitted.

chris with alloys on it soon makes it look more sporty straight away, and lowering good idea. id agree with the back box, but depends if ur goin to change the engine or not, or wether your going to keep that engine,

rich im along with ure idea bout the vauxhall boffins im tryin to make a 5 door gsi, gotta get the 1.6 engine soon tho when the funds arrive, but keep tempting with a z18xe from a cors c sri, what do you reckon?

dude if you can get the 1.8 from the corsa c i would like to see you put one in, my mate at work is saving to get one without AC so he can put the dabias turbo kit on it to bring it up to 230bhp or something then hes going to get a stage 3 head, con rods, pistons and all the reast should be looking at a 300bhp car at the end.

im just spraying up my wheel arch trims at the moment, going to have them in satin black leave the car looking standard as i can, and im saving to put the c20let in there 225bhp will keep me happy!

well a z18xe 125bhp standard i think, i can get 1 for around 350 from a scrappers, n gearbox for about 150, i aint a mechanic so i need someone to do the work for me, but jncracing are only half hour drive away n they do the 2litre xe/let conversions in nottingham so ill see if i can get them to do it, just need to save up now then.
i was going to go for the standard look bumpers until i came across the gsi front bumper, that changed it all, lol, 225bhp will keep u happy until that little guy in your brain says you want more, haha
there was a corsa c in max power i think couple of months ago, running 280 i think, with the dbilas turbo conversion.

lol my problem is my lil B is going to be a familie car in the not to distant future, so i got to have something that will piss over most things but is still sensable to drive,

if i had the money and didnt care about anything else i would tune the let engine to the max litteraly.

but hay hum money is tight and i dont want it to be undrivable for the misses

yer i no where your coming from dude, when do you reckon you'll have the LET done?
im hoping that i can get the z18xe in and running for end of january gives me time to save up enough funds, insurance is the big problem tho cos iv only been drivin for 2 years n im 19, i had 2 accidents in the first 6months of driving , the 2nd accident really made me gutted, cos id spent 2grand on the car after id bought it, was a 1.4 8v 5door corsa, id got a kit on it n everythin it was a thursday i wrote it off on, and on the saturday i was getting cat bak system and ma alloys fitted and i was truly gutted, since then insurers really have ma pants down on a 1 litre, 2032quid for the first year and this year it was 1024quid so with the 1.8 in i will surely be crying!

putting a back box on the car wont loose you any power, but your better off oputting a cat back system on it make it sound a lot icer and you will have about a 5bhp power increase.
