won't start when warm

starts first time every time when cold but 2 out of 10 times it won't start when the engine is warm only. the engine will turn over and over but no start but leave for a an hour and it will start again. it will start with a small push. i have no problems with the car other wise, any surgestion.

hi,

Don´t know your engine type but sounds like it could be the crankshaft sensor.

mine did this about 6 months ago, i think it was crank shaft sensor, cost me 28quid to replace not to bad

the corsas do seem to have a problem with the crankshaft position sensors.

try replacing this first as its cheap and very easy to change.
only one 8mm bolt
X14XE Janspeed S/S center and rear with 3.5" round with hoffman 200 cpi sport cat
C20XE GSi custom 3 box exhaust system, and GAZ 60mm drop

MY CORSA IS A 1L 3 CYL ENGINE AND ROUGHLY WHERE WOULD I FIND THE CRANCKSHAFT SENSOR. THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY

it should be pointing towards the crank pulley, bottom of engine near the drivers side front wheel

mine did this for a while ijust braut a can off hairspray with me everywhere a bit in the carb works a treat hehe
