STILL LOSSES POWER
hi guys
i recently had a problem with my 1.2 16v, that when i reached a certain rev range it would 'hold back' on power (sorry i dont really know how to explain it). So after alittle research i found it could be the Air Flow Meter, sooooooo i changed that but the problem is still happening
so does anyone have any other suggestions what it could be
cheers
Ollie

Re: STILL LOSSES POWER
so when you rev it it just dont rev as quick at a certan RPM
or is it only when you put your foot down hard?
does it do it when you rev slowly and gently?

Re: STILL LOSSES POWER
it is worse when ur at a stand still or at traffic lights, as i pull away it is find then about 1600-2200 revs it holds back really bad and losses power, then it kicks back in agian.

Re: STILL LOSSES POWER
try cleaning out the throttle body and idle speed controle valve with some carb cleaner, then take the crank sensor out and clean that aswell.
hopefully after that will it cure.
one thing tho does this only do it whilst driving or out of gear..
