fans not kicking in when the engine gets hot.. so i bridged the fan connection... fan works... changed the fan switch.... no difference:( any ideas people

mate at work has had this problem in his nova, he just went down halfords and picked up a switch for a few quid and had wired it up so he can turn the fan on and off when he wants.

wiring problem going to be fun to sort out, might be worth trying to get an engine loom cheap from the scrappy and swapping straight over. Shouldnt be too hard just time consuming.
