!!HELP NEEDED!!

Hi everyone.
my bulb thats behind the speedo has just gone.

every shop i go to says i need to take the dash apart and get the bulb to find out what bulb it is.

i really cant be bothered taking dash apart, putting it back together to go to the shop and then take it apart again to fit.

does anyone know what bulb i need to get.

With rev counter: small capless with holder

Without rev counter: illumination 501

i finally got around to takin the bulb out and it hadnt gone.
it was just really dim but i thought id change it just in case the bulb was dodgy.

but with the new bulb its still really dim and u cant see the speedo at night.

wot else could be wrong with it cos its really doing my head in.

Ive got the same problem but with my heaters and the information display any ideas how to get the display off and replace the heater bubl??

erm ok
this is a bit embarrasing but.

where your light switch is theres a wheel that u turn for the brightness of the speedo light and the dash display light.

well that was on the lowest level so i turned it up and its now lit up like a christmas tree.

so ive took out the full speedo to change a bulb that didnt even need changing. wot a waste of time.
serves me right for not thinking things through i guess.

lol had the same issue cos im tall my knee regularly caught the wheel and moved it, worse it used to catch the fog light swich
which police dont like
