Your manifold cover shouldnt be an mot failure, part of mine round one of the nuts that holds it on has coroded but it passed its mot, cant really help u with the other bit unless u might be able to see it if u remove ur boot door card.

same goes with my 1.4 corsa sport too, wen i bought the car the pipe was cut and it leaks through my seat belt, only thing you can do is plug it up near the tub under bonnnit. iv tried a few times to get the door card and back plastics off but the seat belt is in the way. as for your manifold if its completely loose then yes mot failure but if its jus cracked then no.

Hi,
Just had the same problem with my rear wash/wipe. If you open boot and remove the rubber boot (top left)
you should be able to see the pipe. If it is like mine was, it will have come away from the small piece of tube that joins the two pieces of tube, one from waher bottle under bonnet to the washer jet. Simple fix, just get a cup of hot water and warm the tube up then push it firmly onto the tube.
Kind Regards: Genie
