I have a bog standard corsa design 1.2 on 54 plate, its just had its first mot (and passed) and a service at the same time. Thr is this really annoying banging/scraping noise frm front suspension when going over road humps the only time is doesn't do it is whn going over thm at less than 10 mph. I was told it would be having a replacment tracker rod arm and new drop links under warrenty whn the problem first started ????? But whn it had its mot I was told the tracker rod arm hadn't been touched or the drop links but it had a new steering rod end ,its also heavy on the steering too apparently but i dont notice with driving it every day.
Its doing my head in and just want to get it sorted by someone who can!!!!!

Re: suspension banging
my mum has a 1.2 on a 54plate and its the torsion rods, had it done under warranty and now theve gone again, apparently a common fault we've got speed bumps in our area so i blame them, and the fact that vauxhall should have made them last longer.
