When i go round a corner too fast my Handbreak light always comes on i was wondering wtf!!! it was lol
coz surley if the hand brake is on then its gonna F*** up me car ????? can any1 help

i have exactly the same problem but its now whenever i go over a bump as well as round corners its quite strange but its been like this for bout a year now and nothing has gone wrong with ma brakes at all so im not really to worried about it both corsas i have had have done it.

your handbrake light isnt just for your handbrake,
means fault with your braking system....

dont panic sounds most probably just low brakefluid
every time you go round a corner it's dropping enough to flick the light on.
your brakes will still probably work fine but it get it topped up,
Some 3 or 4 dot and top up your brakefluid (dont spill any on your car or will mess your paint to death)

my brake fluid is fine just had replacement handbrake cables had new discs and pads not too long ago and my hand brake light still comes on, any other ideas?

maybe the brake servo is broken? i dunno id get it looked at
might be ok now but what about if they fail one day when you really need them!

could be a faulty switch (that swiches it on wen your handbrake is on)
or it could be faulty brake fluid sensor, or or maybe a blown fuse,
should really have a look in a haynes manual or if you have it your corsa's handbook should tell u what the faults could be in there

u lot are legands i swear this website is the shizzle and does this website have stickers the same as Corsa c website ???

just got through its mot with it being like that, they took the drums off and gave them a clean, i think ill take it down to the garage when i get a minute, better be safe than sorry.

did you not get an advisory notise or anything?

more than likely passed its MOT, as if ur light only comes on sometimes, probably didnt spot it
can gurantee if it was on when they tested it then it would have failed

on that note my eml is on because of the blue wire on my head unit being f**k, would that fail it?

shouldnt do but just to save suspition could always take the bulb for it out

hedunit wiring shouldnt cause your engine managment light to come on tho...

Had the same problem myself. It's a bad earth down beside the handbrake lever.
