cable drive speedo change!

anyone changed a cable driven speedo to one with a rev counter before, your help would be appreciated

dont need to do anything special here
just make sure the speedo ur getting is cable driven
all the rev counters on all modles wer electronic, even if the speedo wasnt

take it the wires are behind the dash?

its not a wire they just have a metal plug fixed in to the dash with contacts on the back of the speedo unit
basicly just put the new clocks in and away you go
(in your case you would have to plug up the mechanicl speedo cable too)

well searching i quite liked the look of these

the top set that start at the 12oclock position looks smart, not sure if they would fit yours or that they would be cheap
just saying the look good
best place to look is scrappers for a new set (Try to make sure they come out of the same sized engine car as yours)

they look awesome but bloody expensive lol, just while ive got u online the small block 8v engine is the cam belt chain or rubber?

the only chain ones wer the 1.0i 12v and the 1.2i 16v
