Hi guys,
Im 17 years old, i passed my driving test a little over a month ago, i have now bought a 1994 1.4 corsa flair, and i need some advice on how to add abit more style to it...im a student earning ema and i have a part time job, so i dont have a great deal of money coming in at the moment, especially as the car isnt taxed yet and i also need to find cheap insurance

Well, go the scrappy and get a late spec front bumper and get a slatted grille. Then get some nice alloys...either vauxhall or not...and lower it a bit. Half decent cat-back system and some depos...happy days! :)

...oh and get some newer arches too...probs from the scrappy when find the bumper!

All of this can be done over time...and make it what u want. Have a look at people's cars and incorporate bits you like into urs.

hello fella and welcome to corsa-b.

Thats a nice looking base car mate, as Chrex said, look out for a late style bumper debadge the car, get a nice set of alloys as close to ET49 as you can get (ET is the offset of the wheel and is stamped on the alloys) Lower if 40mm all round and it will look the nuts mate.

All the best and keep us updated

Just get the paint renovated with either a buffer, or just spend ages doing it by hand...and get a late-spec front bumper...and you're sorted. The black GSi alloys will shortly be up for sale if they interest you?...lol.

Time and effort does tell...but patience is the key to gettin it spot on! :D

so far all i have done to the car is:
put a second hand cd player in,
put seat covers on to hide the 'Flamboyent' interior
put 15inch alloys on that i bought off ebay
fittited 6x9's in the parcel shelf.
i did put a 12inch sub in aswell, put when i took it out i forgot which way round the wires went.

any ideas what else i could do to it...?

many thanks.
