Corsa Acting strange Feels like losing power or tugging.

Completely new to this forum because I am stumped as what to do.

The problem is on a full tank the car is fine, however when it s half way the car stutters or starts tugging (its the best way to describe it) then it will start losing power, from 70 to 60 then down all the way so pulling on the hard shoulder the car just dies, no stall nothing, just stops dead.

Other times going to second the power isnt there then all of a sudden the power comes back. And just the odd general judder.

On a full tank how many miles should a N reg corsa arizona do?

depends how u drive ur car and if its around town or motorway journeys

hmm...well next time you go to fill up, get a big ass bottle of redex and chuck that (all) in. Sounds like an injector problem that. As if its not geting fuel.

Also, when was the last time you changed ur air filter??

I believe I am driving the car fine, its like I said on the motorway it's doing 70 then it starts to chug and loses speed, it stays at 60 then down to 40 then down more so i have to pull over,

I got an air filter a couple of months ago,

Will have to have a go at redex then.

I had the same thing a couple of years back, and it turned out to be the fuel pump, it gave the same intermittent problem sometimes working fine, some times not. But always worked on a full tank! in the end after a few months it gave up completely. Couldn't afford to take it to the garage so I went to a local scrapyard and got a new one out of a newer corsa and the relay, just incase, switched them over and i've never had a problem since. I'm no mecanic but it's worth a try the pump only cost a few quid

I have a simlar sort of problem with mine, full tank there is no problem, but anything below quarter of a tank it starts juddering, feels like a fuel problem to me......... dunno what it is tho
