ok...my corsa b has the mfd...it wasnt working when i got the car so took it off, apart and change the lights. seemed to work kind of fine, but now ive noticed it only works when i turn the lights on. when it does this the time and dates reset. its not an important thing, but its one of those annoying little things. anyone got any ideas?

and yeah ive just noticed its in the wrong section :S can someone move it for me? thanks

the only thing i can suggest mate is check the wires that plug into the back of it. they maybe damaged. hope that helps

well ive checked all the wiring and have come to a strange conclusion. because theres no stereo its getting the power from the lights. so when i get around to putting a stereo in it it 'should' work like its meant to. its only a guess at the moment, but seems the most likely as everything seems to be fine.

ok...been outside...looked at the thing...wasnt on so gave it a good olf fashoined thump. turned on after i thumped it lol. looks like its the unit itself and not the cables as ive had it all off and the cables and pins are fine. might end up taking it apart and soldering whatevers loose on it
