adaptor in boot

there is an adaptor in my boot, it comes from underneath one of the mini white lights just under the parcel shelf, it has 2 holes which looks like you can clip something into it

me being stupid and not thinking decided to put some speakers wire from one of my new kenwood speakers into 1 or both of the holes , thinking the adaptor was for the rear speaker

after switching my cd player on it crackled and then just made a sharp noise and then i could smell burnt something, lol

my question is, what is this adaptor for in the back?

i have a corsa B TRIP 3DR 1.0 LITRE W REG (YEAR 2000)

hmm not sure i had a trip i never notised any adapters in the boot

does your CD player still work? what was it that u cud smell burning at on the speaker? or your cd player

cd player still works fine, im thinking its the speakers but havent had chance to wire it in the front to see if it works or not

probably just blown your speaker then bud

but try it in the front n if it still works then dont use that adapter thing, not sure wat its for...
