plug and play engines?

Post by karaya1 »

hi all, i currently drive a corsa b 1.0L 12v and was wondering is there anyother corsa engines that would drop straight in with no messing about ... i.e 1400/1600 8v?....if so would the wiring/ecu need changing.would the gearbox need swapping as well.......any help would be great

thanks

steve.

the only 1 that would work without changing any bits would be a 1.2 16v
unless u wanted to run your engine on carbs then u wont need an ecu it will just be wiring for the altenator and starter moter.

altho it isnt that much work aslong as you have the loom and ecu from the doner car it should be just as easy as fitting a plug n play engine
