your looking at the best part of £3000 for this to be done and the only place i know of is courtney sport. would be cheaper to fit a LET engine and would be quicker.

the engine in the car was not made to take the turbo, if u gone put a turbo in u might re build the engine 1st then add the turbo but still good chance it will blow up. better off getting a let.

turbo

that why it\'s around £3k to have a turbo fitted to a 1.6 cause they rebuild your engine and upgrade everything i.e. pistons etc and it\'s a low pressure turbo so the engine will cope and on a 1.6 16v will take power to 155bhp. but personally i wouldn\'t waste your money, probably get a LET engine fitted for between £1500-2000 and with abit of tuning your looking at 200+bhp

You can do it but it would be far more cost effective to fit the Calibra Cavalier C20LET engine.

But your reasons for wanting a turbo are not right.
