Help with Windscreen

Post by Dreamer »

Hi i am a newbie this is my 1st post so hi everyone, right here's the thing:

I have a N Reg (95 or 96 i think) Corsa B i bought 3 weeks ago, it has a crack in the windscreen top corner on drivers side and the car is due its MOT end of this month so really i need to get it changed.

I just rang AUTOGLASS and they wanted  £271 !!!!!! :

i am only 3rd Party Fire & Theft so there for i dont have windscreen cover

My question is this:

Is the Windscreen bonded or is it on Rubbers ( i had a mk4 orion and the screen was on rubbers). Hopefully someone can help me out. If the screen is bonded is it hard to seal etc as much help as possible on this 1 pls.

Many thanks in advance 8)
