My stereo dont turn off

Can anyone help? I recently bought a corsa 1.4 and had a great dvd system to go in. I got it all working but soon found a problem. When i start the car, it doesnt turn on with the ignition and doesnt turn off when i turn the car off. The only way i can get it working is to hold the power button until is turns on/off lol
please help

try switching the red and yellow wires on the iso connector i.e. join red to yellow and yellow to red

i have tried every possible wiring option lol and it either on all the time or dont turn on with the ignition

i had that problem i swapped the wires and it worked for me

i had a problem with the connections being the wrong way round and mine is fine nw
