Re: Newbie
Merit is the lowest's spec corsa. Then you have the mid range ones like Trip, Envoy, LS and then the upper end like Club, GLS, SXI, CDX etc.

Re: Newbie
trip i reccon was the lowest
i had a trip,
it had NOTHING standard and i mean nothing
no power steering no ABS or airbags or elec windows
and had black bumpers!
didnt even have a lock on the glovebox!!
best thing to make your car look better is go for some nice wheels
and lower it, will make your car look ten times better
also if the paints alittle faded give it a good t-cut and polish
also if you (like i had) have black bumpers then polish them up nice and shiney will make it look miles better

I've noticed they stopped putting in the locks on the glov box on 1997 models onwards. Dono why cuz I'd rather have a lock on it.

Re: Newbie
probably to cut costs, bet lotus took a fair share of their money when they redesigned the chassie for the corsa in 1997.
same with sony removing the ps2 support on the 40gb ps3 lol

Thats kinda like putting fishnets and a mini-skirt on your granny, she may have great looking legs but she's still your granny! Keep your excess money for the inevitable car stopping repairs that are bound to crop up. Alloys are no good if they wont turn.
