corsa sport help

hi i have a corsa 1.6 16v sport 1998,but the engine is knackerd ive been offered a 1993 gsi engine.just wondering will it be a straight swap over?will all the loom off the sport fit the gsi?cheers

should fit but may need the loom and ecu from the doner car aswell

will the loom not be the same as ive got the old loom from the gsi engine but it looks knackerd,i have got the ecu from the gsi was hoping that would fit to my corsa sport loom?do you think it will?

probably not as they are a diffrent engine
