i live on a bit of a hill so which way is it better to have the engine pointing when i do an oil change up hill (oil at the back of the engine) or down hill (oil at front)?
also can anyone recomend a good full synthetic oil? and good spark plugs?

u need the car flat mate, if not you could possibly overfill fill the oil... nightmare, its unlikely ud underfill it. could you not service it on the peak of the hill. lol

also...
if your car is on a hill (like mine)
position the car so its facing DOWN the hill & then put the front of the car up on ramps & the car should be fairly level then!
I\'m going to be doing an oil-change later & upping pics for a tutorial for other people

actually i thought about it after, and you could check your oil level before you do it, and then put back the same amount you drain, should be ok with brake pads as long as you chock your wheels to be safe, and i dunno what you\'d do if you needed to touch the rear drums... you\'d need somewhere flat, even pumping the foot brake after the ignition is turned off might not hold it enough.
ramps are pure genius paul
