I killed my corsa

Post by Tommi »

Help. I killed my corsa last year and for love nor money can i find out whats wrong. It began as a suspect rad fan switch, got a new one, tested it, installed it. Got a new radiator (problem was car overheating) tested and installed, still nothing. Too off the head and got her shimmed, new head gasket, all new gaskets on the upper engine. New water pump, new rad fan. Engine has been completely revamped and she's still not cooling. The only other thing i can think of is that when i first got the car the rad was leaking so i put radweld into it, maybe the main coolant feed is blocked or else the membraines inside the block are blocked. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

well... have you replaced your Thermostat?.... and checked theres no air in the rad pipes?

as i had a customer had similar problem ... as his head gasket was gone... as it was started to boil even just going down the road 1 mile... .. due to Thermostat not working... (they have a wax ball inside and when the water gets hot they open up.. and let the water travel around the engine and rad.) so it had head gasket with bolts. Thermostat, Rad, rad switch, water pump. which solved the the boiling problem for my customer.. hope this helps...
