hi all,
i have just bought a new jamex suspension kit for my 1993 corsa 1.4 sri to lower it by 40mm i dont want to waste money paying over priced mechanics to fit it for me as i know i can do the job myself. i just need to know what tools i need as i have been told i need a certain tool for the job at had but have not been able to get a name for this tool. can any 1 give step by step instruction and also name the exact tools needed for the job at hand? i have searched google with no luck and am hoping some1 on here can help.

Yes, don't just change the springs, it's a horrible ride. Do the shocks as well.

yes deffo change the shocks otherwise you will be bouncing all around and its not a good site, you only need spring clamps, lowering is a piece of p*ss, if you dont have access to a garage then lowering the rear its best to do the rear seperate as in o/s first then n/s no specific order just, use a jack and take the weight off the vehicle dont jack it all the way up and remove the top torx bolt 18 bolt female i think from the TOP of the shock absorber the axle should drop slightly, jack the car up higher so the road wheel comes off the floor now and remove the rear spring, really easy :)
