yea am think poss keep original bumpers and just give the hole car a full color code and smooth everything.
Arches and plastic parts of bumper need b smooth though 1st or get the rough texture come through once painted i beleive

i had mine sprayed at a garage and they didnt need to sand or smooth anything, the paint coverd the texture its self, but if you plan on rattle cans (fail) then yes it will show through.

Did you get them "old-style" wheels you're after? (Like the ones off some 1960 ford?)

So far smoothed passenger door.
Removed roof trims and got long lengths of metal cut from m8s work to sit just under the roof level and will be welding these in the weekend and more fibre glass and filler so got a smoothed roof to.
Just trying do different things that not seen many other people do.
Want ultra smoothed Corsa
Will add pics when can

sounds awsome, cant wait to see pics
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

Not been on much as moved house and got place straight lol

Got Corsa in a empty garage now woo hoo.

Welded number plate indent up with sheet of metal
welded boot lock indent up with metal cut of had
Ground welding down, filled with fibre glass, sanded that back flatish, added filler sanded that back couple more layers of filler and sanding, primed then painted with gloss black can i had to keep weather proof for now.
Boot finished!!

Ground roof down for weldong metal strips where roof rack trims were.
Welded 1 side in, was bit awkard as the trims bend so had put several cuts in the metal strips to get the bend and then weld the cuts i made up.
Other side to be done 2morra and got tone of pics on phone to add but cant find cable for phone to laptop lol.

Engine is slowly bein removed to get 2ltr in their. But want weld seams of panels up 4 bit more strength.
Cant find and major rust so happy about that.
