Project 'DECHAV'

Post by Markyc »

I've bought This corsa b . 1.2 poo!!(honestly slowest thing i have ever driven even compared to my 1.3 serria 4x4 ) Tax till Dec and MOT till nov. 79k
As u can see i've called it project dechav as the poor little car has been attacked with A dustbin lid sized exhaust, horrid lexus rights, big air filter and extremley big 17 inch wheels!!

Image

Image

I've ahve already bought std rear lights and and back box of egay.
I have also manged to source a set of steels so am buying some tyres sometime this week £106 delivered set of 195/50/15! which i think very good!!

My plans are 60mm at the front 80mm at the back on steelies sprayed gloss black. Front grill, tidy up the body work and maybe a sport or gsi interior.
I have got my sub 6x9 etc going in this week so hopefully drown out the noise of me sounding like a small aircraft coming down the road hahaha!!

Comments welcome good or bad and any advice on corsa b's as i have never own one!

Project de-chav is well under way
Removed the lexus lights

Std Air Box back on

Picked up this Astra alloys for £125. 2 good tyres 2 **** but the bloke gave me to Astra sport sprae wheels with well nearly brand new rubber on so putting them on tommorow at a mates garage. The Astra alloys need a refurb so will be doin that when i get a spare weekend!!`

Image

Also got my 60mm shocks and springs!! lets just hope they don't rub!!!!
Rubbed down my first set of wheels!! realy enjoying it only 2 done but fingers are sore but hey!!

Image

Got some 195/45/15 proxes going on the fronts and some cheaper on the back!!

Been a busy one today. Picked up my new 288mm brake set up like new pads n dics look newish too!!

So set about fitting them in the garage not out in the rain hahah!

mine dont rub, but i have adjusted the width of the rear axle so i can fit my alloys in no problem without scrubbing. i could even sink 205 17's in my rear arch without any scrubbing, but no way could i get it looking good on the front :( so i scrapped that idea, and am now waiting for some cavalier slabs i should be going to collect this weekend :) just looking at yours and since as allll your trim and spoiler is black i think depo lights would just finish the front end of! 8)
