i started the engine the other day and the engine started revving by itself.. just small surges buh was revving on its own.. i turnd the engine off and waited a few seconds and started it again,, it carried on and so i left it.. i started it up the next day and it was fine so i just thought it was a minor blip...
thoo today i started it again and it started revving again.. io cant get my head around it and dont wana take it to some garage for them to rip me off.. any ideas what it could be? anybody had this happen to them? any advice would be great

yea my moped was doing that but then i found out that i had tightened acelorater cabel to much
if thats any help like moped and corsa are 2 differnt thing but thought it mught help u figer something out gd luk with it hope this helps u a wee bit

Hi,
Its Could be many things causing the Car to do this, Could be the idle air control Valve, which controls the air flow into the engine when idling. Either that or a air leak on the intake manifold such as inlet gasket leaking or a vacumm pipe off.
