Hall Detector Distributor

Help! I'm in need of a new distributor Hall sensor for a 93 Corsa Merit 1200, and I'm being told by my local dealer (Stevens) that they are no longer available, and a quick check of motor factors points me back to main dealer! This is a 45000 mile car and I don't want to lose it. Does anyone know of a specialist firm in the UK (or anywhere else) I can get this part other than a whole new distributer? I can't believe I'm alone on this one. Any help greatly appreciated.

Your best chance is to go to a scrapyard not sure where in UK you are but a decent vauxhall one that is most likely to have this part is www.allvox.co.uk
