Blue Corsa C20XE

Post by jayybull »

just got myself a bargain of the month when it comes to this,

Blue Corsa
c20xe conversion
mtec conversion parts
strengthing plates
mtec power cap
upgrated suspension and dampers
shell is a minter

ill add pics these next few days

it needs a tax/ mot which ill have to sort out quickly.

Things to do
add GSI kit
astra digital dash
powercoat slabs and put on
get new exhaust system as the cat on this scraps from being lowered

quick question
1. can u get any certain mainfolds designed for the corsa conversion that are slightly smaller mainfolds so they dont hang down as low or do i need to get cat cut out ?

Mtech conversion is pretty good.
I live in holland got the parts from them 2, works fine till now.

About the manifold, i just modified the exhaust to make it sit a bit higher, i dont know about any special manifolds.
Enjoy your new car mate.

Quick update,

Went thru MOT
TAX'ed
Cav Slabs on it

i got the powersteering running i been told that the pipes for this can be dangerous and catch on fire if they knock to much on the mainfold/ exhaust? is this true ?

i got to change the exhaust system on it this week as its too loud and does my head in after 1day. also pop to scrap yard to get car loom for cd player as of where its been chop n wired up to cdplayer loom. (why do people do things like this)

looks awryt mate, need to colour code the bumpers etc, the slabs would be better white imo and get stndrd lights back on mate they dont do the car any good, either tint your ones black or maybe red. youd be better off checking google for that cause some people have never had problems and others do think it just depends on how the conversion has been done tbh mate.

yeah but i love the cav slabs look. will look better when my gsi kit goes in for repairs/respray. ive got these til the car is done then ill look into a different set of wheels.

so first day properly driving, after being told about how the powersteering pipes can cause fire hazards i temp cable tied them back away from it but now its knocking on the chassis frame and where i tied it back, 1 of the pipes is bent slightly so i got to get under modify the pipe and make it so it dont rattle, hopefully change my exhaust system as its leaking gases and too loud tmorrow.

the slabs be getting refurbed next month and resprayed white or black, not sure if im doing tints, standard lights are back on there, i sold them to some1 i know that likes that sorta thing.
