you could get a simoniz rattle can and spray the bonnet black it'l look rather good against the white shell i think i always think simoniz black spray paint is the best to use, iv never had any runs or anything it just seems to stick like glue and it comes in huge 500mm cans aswell i did 4 of my wheels with 1 and 3/4 cans!! but yea its coming along well fast!! roll on PVS i wana see this badboy

dont get me wrong theres loads of little niggles.

but essentially its all there. waiting on a harness, then mot.

i want a full service and timing gear change, and new fpr

then give the gearbox a checkover

etc etc. will see how it mot's and how he drives first.

not cheap thou...

after some investigation... i already knew about a sheard bolt on the thermostat houseing...

but i didnt know the timing tensioner was siezed... or one of the belt rollers bearings had collapsed.

so mot turned into new timing kit, water pump, some machineing. the mot,

so had to find borrow ££ to get it sorted.

just need road tax now.

and get the tracking sorted.

old gasket was rockhard. so not doing its job anymore
