Manual Power steering issue

I have a corsa b 1.2L 8v Shell fitted with Isuzu 1.5TD and want to fit a power steering. A manual power steering is what I need. Should a 1.4L 16v steering rack fit? I think there souldn't be any probs except that I have to fit an isuzu pump.

Am I on the right track, please state any opinions. I appreciate

instead of mucking about with pumps and wot not, why dont you fit electric powersteering?

Hi, in fact a friend of mine just crashed his corsa 1.4 16v and offered me his power steering rack. That is why I am asking if this fits ok on a 1.2L 8v shell. I have the pump already which was given when I bought the engine.

yes mate it will fit, will be a bit orquad to change tho with the engine still in place, i put power hydraulic power steering out of a 5 door corsa into a pre 97 corsa sport and that fitted straight up.
