haha,
anyway did a bit more when i got home today, i could get around to putting my brand new brake drum on, which i was one short of, only problem is now that its being a bit of a pain in the arse to blead all the air out, as land rover made these brakes a double piston type with one piston at the top and one at the bottom connected with a pipe from the one down to the other, but only thing is they put the bleed screw at the bottom of the two :/ so iv had a bit of fidling and removing all the front hubs to try and twist them to get the nipple at the top then bleed them then turn them back down, but in doing so i have crimped the one pipe and put a hole in it, which isnt good or bad, but least now i can re-do the front brakes and try and get the bleed nipple in the top piston instead of the bottom. real pain but its the last bit to do to it really now.

yerr, this brake lot is going to take a while, i hate messing with brake fluid it dries my hands out something bad it does!!!! and im going to have to re-build the front brake setup as its basically terrible lol courtesy of land rover but hmmm its gotta be done oh and that one brake drum on its own was £60 bit much but hopefully they should stop her well

lol yea i had another go today, i made a new piece of brake pipe up, and put it to go in the bottom and bleed at the top, instead of in at the top and bleed at the bottom. i even made a photo for you if you can understand it lol

had this delivered, and as soon as i looked at it in the box i new it was broken, so i took a photo of it next to the date and time on my pc screen then rang the company http://www.jjcraceandrally.com and he said they do sometimes have broken gauges, but install it and try it and see if it does reset to zero after a bit of use, if it doesnt contact us again and we'l have to sort something out (i was thinking at this point, bullshit) so i said urrr ok i'l try that, so iv installed it this morning, and done a few foot to the floor moment and nahh it doesnt re-set to zero i new it wouldnt so i took another photo of it installed (this one) and i'l try ringing the company in a minute again, if it doesnt answer then i'l give them a ring on monday.

havent done alot to it just lately, these came through the post (both sides) so iv mounted them on, (inner arches)

i havent wrote in here for ages, but small update, went for mot today, it failed, not on alot, i had to put a silencer in the exhaust so i made this up as soon as i got home, and thats basically all it failed on im well chuffed got couple more problems tho, must be dirt in the tank and it keeps blocking up my fuel pipe to the lift pump, so i had to stop three times on the way home remove the pipe blow down it back to the tank and then put it back on the lift pump again, as it was restricting the fuel and it wouldnt rev, also on the way home the nut for the front diff came off :S so the front prop was just hanging there until i got home, iv put it back on and the nut back on, and it was missing the split pin which was weird... but its got one now just got to tighten one u-bolt on the front axle, slacken the front left brake slightly, and take it back for its free re-test here's a photo of my exhaust, and you can just about make out the front prop hanging down at a steep angle. ish....

yay its finally road legal as of yesterday and did my first trip to work and back in it today and it didnt miss a beat so happy
