need a little help

my car is in the garage getting its engined changed to another 1 litre the gage have eventualy phoned saying the engine is in but they cant get it to start and dont know why

so could some one give me sum suggestions why it wont start

well firstly tell the garage that its pretty unacceptable and they need to sort it asap, and i hope their making an effort to find out why as its not your responsibility to do so.

not gonna be very easy to give suggestions unless a bit more information is given. is it turning over?is it firing? is there power? etc

yes it it turning over but it wont start but it will start if the squirt easy start into the throttle body and the fuel pump works if the connect a wire straight to the battery but there doesnt seem to be any fuel going to the engine

If its a new engine im guessing its a new ECU too?

I reccon its the imobilizer, your key needs to be coded to your ecu. If the key shows the wrong code for the ecu it wont turn on the fuel pump thus imobilizing the engine

nope ecu wasnt changed it was just the engine black wgich was changed

and all sorted now a wire had broke which went to the crank sensor
