Misfire/judder hen i hit a bump, please help

Hi all, I am desperate to get to the bottom of the problem with my wifes 1995 corsa 1.4 8v automatic. Basically when the car hits a drain, pot hole bump etc it misfires/judders quite bad. So much so that on a country lane she had to pull over as the dash light came on and the engine died, she could then restart it fine, do you guys have any idea, I am perplexed by this. I have checked the ignition leads are on, plugs in fine, and wiggled the leads to the coil pack all seems to be ok. Your help would be most appreciated.

Loose earth? Loose plug? As it's a 8v auto I'm guessing its a dizzy? Try the coil pack lead, either that or it needs a decent service!

thanks for the reply, I will get out on Sunday check those things the coil pack was changed but for a used 1 so I think I need to give her car a bit of tlc.... Thanks again
